Love Affair Workshop

I got the opportunity to go to a photography workshop for women a couple weeks ago. It was awesome! We got to stay in beach houses on an island near Wilmington, NC called Bald Head Island. You have to take a ferry to the island, and everyone drives golf carts around the island. We stayed in these adorable beach houses and I had the cutest room all to myself. Every morning I woke up and looked out the window to see the ocean right there. It was beautiful! I met a lot of really great girls there and learned a lot too. My housemates were Kara, Amanda and Esther (who came all the way from the UK!). The last night, the girls gave us a surprise "Spa Night" complete with a 15 minute massage, pedicure, manicure, parafin wax treatment, hors d'ouvres and wine (or sparkling cider for me!). It kind of rekindled my passion for photography in a way. Lately with the business growing a lot, I have felt like I have been taking the same pictures over and over again and not getting very creative with my shoots. I have a new love for awesome photography and really want to broaden my horizons in that area. I included some pictures that I took of the models while we were there. Oh, and a couple girls took some cool pictures of me while were there too.

AJ Watts

Our friends Krystal and Aaron stopped by the other night with their adorable little boy AJ. He really seemed to like Todd. He kept giving him kisses! What a cutie!

Wedding Album

So, you would probably think that since I'm a wedding photographer, and we have been married for 2 1/2 years now, that I would have an awesome wedding album to show off my pictures! Right?? Uhhh, no. But I finally ordered it. I have been working on the design for probably 1 1/2 years now when I get a spare minute. I also kept changing my mind about what company I wanted to go with too. But I finally decided on what I wanted and the pictures are in New Zealand at Queensberry being bound into the book as we speak! I am so excited! I've been bugging Todd about getting it for a long time. This picture is one that I took on Valentine's Day of our rings to go on the cover of the album. I can't wait to see it!

Christmas Bash

We threw a fun Christmas Party at our house. It was a lot of fun. We played a great white elephant gift game that was so funny! Kit brought a hermit crab as his gift! It was so funny because 2 or 3 different people kept fighting over it.
