Josh's umbilical cord finally fell off on Saturday, so now he gets to have real baths! He really enjoyed it. He was so cute just looking around. Mom watched him through iChat from Tennessee. So how often would y'all say I should bathe him? Every other day???

First Bath!

I always did every 2-4 days. Utah is so dry and my kids would get eczema from their baths. He looks like he enjoyed his bath- no tears?!
We thought we should bathe Connor everyday like adults do, but then his skin would get really dried out. The doctors said literally once a week was enough because he really wouldn't be getting "dirty". Uh yeah, that changed when he'd have blowout diapers up his back. Haha! Your days are coming my dear...haha!
He is so tiny and sweet looking!

Jacob still gets really dry skin in the winter if we bathe him every day, so his doctor said every other day or every couple of days was fine.
That's so neat your mom got to be a part of it. I bet you miss her already.
I have a great book my dr. gave that helps with all of that. She told me every other day. sometimes i'd bath him every day it seemed because he was always crappin out his diaper or peeing all over himself. as for the book...i'm at work right now or i'd tell you the name. so when i get home i'll send it your way. it's got everything from bathing to first foods and well tons of good advice.

Looks like Josh enjoyed his first bath.. Miles did too.. he was so cute playing with the water the whole time!
every few days or so is fine until they start getting into things - or spitting up lots. He's so cute- he already looks bigger!
