We had such a fun time at Josh's 1st birthday party! He loves Mr. Bear, so we did everything in a bear theme. The cake took forever to frost, and I have way too many cupcakes leftover (anyone want some?) but it turned out great. First we ate pizza and bear-shaped jell-o jigglers, then we played 'pin the nose on the teddy bear' and 'musical bears'. The kids may have been just a little too young for these games :) but it was fun anyway. We sang to Joshy as I helped him blow out his candle and got a lot of help from cousins and friends to open up Josh's presents. He got so many great toys and cute outfits. Then we stripped him down to see what kind of damage he could do to that bear cake! He wasn't way into it, but did manage to get a little bit messy. Thanks to everyone who came and partied with us and thanks so much for the wonderful gifts!
