Flat tire!

So half way home today we got a flat tire! It was the kind that as soon as it happened, the tire was completely flat. We actually had no idea where we were when it happened because neither of us were really paying attention to that. Luckily a nice cowboy pulled over to tell us that we were just 3 miles from Beaver. We didn't have the tools to put the spare on, so we called a local shop there and Rick came out and saved us! We followed him back to his shop and he fixed us up. Good thing there was a Dairy Queen there! Everyone was so nice to us and helpful! I think we actually had a good time with it all! Weird...

It's a girl!

No, not really...but I guess you could say, we got a "glimpse!" Todd and I were in Vegas this past week for WPPI (Wedding and Portrait Photographers International). Last time we were there we saw this Morph Photo Booth in one of the hotels that take two people's pictures and analyze what their child will look like. So this time we did it! The machine's printer was broken, so I just had to take a picture of the screen - so it's not that high of quality. But I'd say "Chloe Jane" turned out very cute (just imagine her without the 80's hairdo)!

Eden Ann Westover is born!

Todd's sister Mary had her baby girl on Monday, March 10th. She was 7 lbs. 9 oz. and 20 in. long. She is a little cutie! It will be so much fun to have a baby in the family who actually lives in Utah. All of our other nieces and nephews live out of state. Dan and Mary are so happy to have little Eden now and we are very excited! I am going to do a photo shoot of her this weekend that I will post later.

North Carolina Tour Part Two

So after Wilmington, we headed up north to Raleigh where we met mom and dad. They drove out from Knoxville - about 5 1/2 hours away. There were some really cute neighborhoods there, but the downtown seemed a little sleepy. I don't think we were there at the most happening time. The next two days we stayed in Charlotte. The first day it rained like crazy and they were even calling for a tornado! Mom was a little nervous driving around. Luckily, the next day was really nice and we could wear our short sleeves and sandals. We had no agenda at all so we just drove around and looked at different parts of town. There were so many cute neighborhoods and houses. I really loved Myers Park - an older neighborhood with amazing tree lined streets and gorgeous homes! I was in love! The great thing about Charlotte, is it is a bigger city which is great for business, and also it is only 3 hours to the beach and 3 1/2 hours to Knoxville! Sounds ideal!

Wilmington, North Carolina

Todd came out and picked me up after the Love Affair Workshop so we could tour around North Carolina! We started our "tour" in Wilmington. It is a beautiful small beach town in the southern part of the state. It was really pretty. We found a neighborhood where the houses had a canal in the back yard that you could boat right out to the Intercoastal Waterway! Awesome!
